Happy back-to-school week, everyone (this year in BC, anyway)…

Eileen’s fingers closed around something that felt like the right shape. She pulled it out, spilling the milk inside it.

Charlotte and Eileen go to a Montessori school called Highglen Elementary, because that is where the real-life sisters went to school many years ago. At the time, Highglen was the only Montessori school in Prince George.
Prince George is the city where all the Family Magic stories take place. It doesn’t say what season it is in Cursed Dishes, but since Prince George has snow for about six months of the year, there’s a good chance it’s winter!
